Underground tanks for LPG and DME

For whom?

Underground tanks for liquefied gas can be used, among others:

  • at petrol stations and autogas (LPG) distribution
  • in production failities from various industries, (LPG / DME)
  • in facilities related to agriculture, e.g. tank installations for animal farms, grain dryers, as well as for temporary protection of crops in greenhouses and foil tunnels against sudden frosts, etc. (LPG)
  • on the premises of individual users and the area of investments prepared by development companies for end customers (e.g. housing estates powered by a base of underground LPG tanks)

Requirements for the distance from building structures or roads are less restrictive than those for aboveground LPG and DME tanks. For this reason, underground LPG tanks can be located on plots of land with a smaller area than in the case of aboveground tanks. Additionally, deciding on an underground DME or LPG tank, the client gains the possibility of any arrangement development of the plot. LPG or DME tanks have to be located in a green area. They cannot transfer overloads from driving and communication roads.

Underground tank for liquid gas

The Ekonstal Group offers underground tanks for LPG, fully adapted to the environmental and energy policy in the industry in which the customer operates. Thanks to many years of experience, we provide durable and reliable industrial and commercial liquid gas storage tanks, manufactured in accordance with the highest standards in terms of quality and safety. They are widely used at commercial autogas stations. LPG is unleaded fuel, therefore it is a more ecological alternative to petrol or diesel. It is a leader in terms of availability on the list of alternative fuels, which is seen in the growing number of filling stations year by year allowing to refuel this gas.

Underground LPG and DME tanks can also be used for industrial purposes, e.g. for the production of technological heat or ensuring the continuity of technological processes, including the storage of gas needed for the production of e.g. aerosols, paints and varnishes, packaging or mounting foams.

Foundation of an underground LPG tank

When deciding about the selection of an underground LPG tank, the investor may be influenced by several factors. They include e.g. limited area of the plot or guidelines of the spatial development plan, which may limit certain ways of interfering with the environment, such as, e.g, the assembly of aboveground steel structures. When planning the installation of an underground LPG tank, ground conditions should also be taken into account, e.g. groundwater level. We provide transport of tanks manufactured in our factory to the target location indicated by the customer.
