Interesting information about the project

Mobile fuel stations are a very popular choice among customers who prefer automated, self-service distribution of fuel and motor vehicle consumables. Our Scandinavian client was looking for a solution that would allow him to operate a convenient, modern distribution point, compatible with the climate conditions on site.

The fuel tank has three compartments for separate storage of AdBlue, clear Diesel fuel and dyed Diesel fuel. The AdBlue compartment is built with optimum thermal insulation and cladding (mineral wool and galvanized aluminium sheets), and features an internal heater to protect the stored contents from low temperatures which could cause the product to crystallise. The delivery piping from the compartment is also thermally insulated. It is protected with heat tracing. Each compartment is fitted with a mechanical overfill valve and a mechanical check valve.

In the front of the fuel tank assembly, under a roof extending forward, we installed the electrical and ICT panels. They are easy to access for servicing and sheltered from rain, snow and wind. We adapted the platform for easy installation of the fuel distributor pump by the customer once the fuel station had been delivered on site. The fillbox is installed on the tank head. The fuel tank also features a service ladder and platform as standard.
