61 m³ mobile fuel station for Norway – a modern multi-compartment steel tank
Mobile fuel stations are one of Ekonstal’s core specialties, which is why more and more projects of this type leave our production facility every year. One of our latest deliveries is a 61 m³ mobile fuel station manufactured for the Norwegian market.
The station was designed for the safe storage and dispensing of multiple fuels within a single compact installation. At its heart is a double wall above ground fuel storage tank with a diameter of 2,500 mm, manufactured in accordance with the requirements of EN 12285-2. As experienced mobile fuel station manufacturers, we develop every project individually to meet the operational needs of our customers and the technical requirements of the destination market.
Multi-compartment tank for diesel, petrol and AdBlue
This steel tank is divided into five separate compartments for storing diesel fuel, petrol and AdBlue. This configuration allows several products to be dispensed from a single installation, reducing the amount of infrastructure required while improving the efficiency of the fuel station.
The entire technological system has been equipped with all the necessary nozzles, valves and safety components specified by the customer. All piping has been manufactured from stainless steel, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. In Norway’s demanding climate, stainless steel process piping is considered an essential solution for reliable long-term operation.
The station is built around one of our cylindrical steel tanks, combining high structural strength with an efficient use of space and straightforward integration with dispensing equipment.
Designed for Norwegian operating conditions
This project was specifically engineered to meet the operational requirements of the Norwegian market. A standard feature is the fill box, which enables safe tank filling while preventing any accidental fuel leakage from contaminating the surrounding ground.
Particular attention was paid to the AdBlue compartment. It has been fully insulated, while both the suction and filling lines are insulated and fitted with heating cables. In addition, a stainless steel immersion heater has been installed inside the compartment to maintain the correct operating temperature of the AdBlue even during harsh Norwegian winters.
Safe and convenient operation
To ensure comfortable day-to-day operation, the station has been equipped with an operating platform supporting the fuel dispensers. A protective canopy and integrated lighting provide safe and convenient operation regardless of weather conditions or time of day.
The installation also features service platforms and access ladders, allowing operators to safely reach every inspection manhole. The double wall above ground fuel storage tank is equipped with an interstitial leak detection system, while the entire structure is protected with a high-performance anti-corrosion coating designed for long-term service in demanding climatic conditions.
