Interesting information about the project
Our mobile petrol stations usually provide users with two-way access to the platform on which fuel dispensers are placed. In this project, our client from Scandinavia needed a different solution. They wanted the platform to be covered on both sides with special steel covers. By implementing this construction idea, we created a kind of steel shelter for protecting the ICT and electrical switchboard under the roof. It also protects the dispenser installed by the Client after the tank was delivered to the final location.
Another unusual solution utilised in this project is the platform structure. We made it in such a way that it can be used as a shallow drip tray. This minimises the risk of environmental pollution in the case of an uncontrolled leak from the dispenser on the platform. The dispenser itself was mounted on a special elevated section, while the stainless steel piping was connected to it in a non-standard way under the platform roof.
The diameter of the tank is 2.5 m and its two chambers can store up to 30,000 litres of diesel fuel. The RAL colour chosen by the Client was matched to the colour of the buildings near the station. It will be used for the purposes of an industrial park.
