What is a normobaric chamber?
The normobaric chamber is a modern device for conducting regenerative normobaric sessions under increased pressure. Inside it, carefully selected parameters of the atmosphere are maintained. They were modified in relation to the parameters of the Earth’s atmosphere as follows:
- The absolute pressure in the normobaric chamber is maintained at approx. 1500 hPa (150 kPa / 0.5 bar), which is approx. 500 hPa (50 kPa) higher than the atmospheric pressure on the Earth.
- The oxygen partial pressure is elevated to within 31.5 – 40 kPa (vs. 21 kPa in the Earth’s atmosphere).
- The carbon dioxide partial pressure is elevated approx. to within 0.7 – 2 kPa (vs. 0.05 kPa in the Earth’s atmosphere).
- The hydrogen partial pressure is elevated approx. to within 0.4 – 0.5. kPa (vs. 0.00005 kPa in the Earth’s atmosphere).

Research by scientists has confirmed that such a composition of the breathing gas mixture in a normobaric chamber is the closest to optimal conditions for human health. Why?
- The pressure increased to about 1500 hPa accelerates the regeneration of human organs and tissues and increases the efficiency of oxygen absorption by tissues.
- Because of the increased partial pressure of carbon dioxide, oxygen is much more easily detached from haemoglobin in the capillaries and goes to the tissues and organs where it is most needed.
- Hydrogen is one of the most effective antioxidants that helps the body in neutralizing harmful free radicals.

Normobaric chamber – atmosphere close to perfect
Research conducted by various scientists confirms that the current atmospheric conditions on Earth are not optimal at all for our functioning. This is the case with both the pressure and the mixture of gases we breathe. Why?
It is evident that air pressure elevated to approximately 1500 hPa may accelerate regenerative processes of human organs and tissues.
